For International Womans Day 2023 we wanted to focus in our amazing female pilots, and to recruit more to join Europe's No.1 airline. Only 7% of pilot applicants are female but with an 85% success rate.
That's why this International Women's Day Ryanair launched 'Role Models Roadshow' for schools, where students can hear from our female pilots, and women right across our business who have built their career in Ryanair. To accompany this we created this video campaign to show our pilots as superhero and role model figures, to inspire young girls.
For International Womans Day 2024, we adapted the same formula as 2023 by wanting to shine a light on careers within the aviation industry which are male dominated.
This production heros our female Engineers within Ryanair and how they're able to contribute to the RYR fleet in the skies everyday.
